Wake Audubon Free Monthly Community Program

Wake Audubon monthly program; second Tuesday of every month. Welcome! Come hear from environmental education and conservation experts on an array of slated topics – from North Carolina’s diversity of birds, moths, fish, reptiles and amphibians, to Ecuador’s myriad hummingbirds and Japan’s winter wildlife and more. Programs are free and open to the public. We look forward to meeting you.
Program begins at 7:30 p.m. Please arrive between 7:10 and 7:35 p.m. to gain entrance. (Note: Our August program is a pot luck and member slide-show that begins earlier, at 6:30 p.m.; please arrive between 6:10 and 6:35 p.m.) Location is the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences Nature Research Center, 121 West Jones Street. Enter via main doors to the right of the Daily Planet Globe and proceed to the fourth floor Environmental Conference Center. Restrooms will be available. (Note that this is after hours, and the rest of the museum is closed during our meeting.) On-street parking is free in the evening.
